The Anderson County Park System is owned by Anderson County Government and operated through the Conservation Board. The county park system has seven parks and ramps throughout the county.

The premier park in the system is Anderson County Park. This park consists of a campground with 40 short-term sites, 30 long-term sites, 2 ADA sites, and a group camp area.  Please note that the individual camp sites have 30/50 amp and 110v electric outlets and water hookups while the group camp only has a 110v outlet and water hookups.  All of the sites are perfect for campers and tents.  There is also a boat ramp and swim area specifically for the campground area.

The park also has a house that is available for short-term rental.  You can click here to find out more and book your lake vacation.  Anderson County Park has a playground area, a public swimming area, a public boat launch, two picnic shelters, and a six-mile hiking/biking trail.

The Anderson County Park system has a park with picnic tables and a playground at Gibbs Ferry Park, Bull Run Park, Marlow Park and the Kid’s Palace. The boat ramps managed through the Anderson County Park System are at Anderson County Park located on Norris Lake and Gibbs Ferry, Lost Bottom Park, HWY 61, and Bull Run Park  on the Clinch River.
